We want you to see it exactly as it is - no shortcuts, no edits. This is the full 52-minute prep in real time. Every ingredient, every chop, every scoop. This isn’t a highlight reel - it’s the Actual Food Diet, exactly as we make it for ourselves.

Watch the Clock

In the top right, you’ll see the minute hand move.
We started at 7:00 AM. In real time, it took 52 minutes to prepare a week’s supply. You’re seeing it in 6½ minutes - but nothing has been cut out.

Hear the Chops

Every slice, every cut - thousands of repetitions, one after another. Relentless, almost hypnotic but somehow also therapeutic.

Why We’re Showing You This

Because transparency matters. We didn’t want to just tell you about the bowl - we wanted to show you, step by step. So you can see exactly what goes into it and even try it yourself.

How and When We Make It

We prepare the bowls twice a week. On Mondays, we make four days’ worth, and on Thursdays, three days’ worth to carry us through to the next Monday. That way, everything stays fresh.

By now it’s become a ritual. We start the day with fresh vegetables, chilled music, and a rhythm that feels almost therapeutic. Most of the time we’re laughing, dancing, and vibing our way through the chopping. What could have been just another kitchen task has turned into something we actually look forward to - a simple routine that sets the tone for the week.

And the funny part? What started as survival has become a ritual we’d never give up. You might be surprised how satisfying it feels when you try it yourself.

"For us, eating this bowl every day isn’t a diet - it’s balance. Daily nutrition now, instead of daily medication later. That simple choice changes everything. Next, I’ll show you how we live it.“

Additional Preparation Steps

You’ve already seen the full prep in action - every ingredient, every chop, no shortcuts.
Here’s what the routine looks like week to week:

  • Shopping Trips: Restock fresh produce twice a week, ideally the day before prep day.
  • Chickpeas: Soak overnight, then pressure-cook for 40 minutes.
  • Quinoa: Cook one large cup of dried quinoa (about 15 minutes).
  • Assembly Line: Follow the order shown in the video to portion.

Once it’s prepped, eating it daily becomes the easy part - and that’s where the real balance begins.

Are Your Bowls Suitable For People With Allergies?

As long as you leave out the pumpkin and sunflower seeds, the bowl is naturally allergy-friendly.
Beyond that, everything else is simple whole food: vegetables, grains, and legumes.

It’s naturally free from dairy and refined ingredients, and most people find it gentle, balanced, and easy to digest.
Of course, anyone with specific sensitivities should always adapt it to suit their needs.
